lyrics
Oh John the rabbit, yes ma'am
Got a mighty habit yes ma'am
Jumping in my garden "
Cutting down my cabbage "
My sweet potatoes "
My fresh tomatoes "
And If i live "
To see next fall "
I ain't gonna have "
No trouble at all "
Oh John the rabbit "
Got a mighty habit "
Jumping up in the morning "
Putting on his clothes
His socks and shoes
His shirt and pants "
And if he's ready "
at half past eight "
He can go to school "
and he won't be late"
Oh John the rabbit, yes ma'am
Got a mighty habit yes ma'am
Jumping in my garden "
Cutting down my lettuce "
And all my carrots "
My squash and peppers "
And If i live "
To see next spring "
I ain't gonna have "
A cotton pickin thing"
And if I live "
to see next fall "
I ain't gonna have "
no cotton at all "

I am a big Emily Barker fan. This little EP is basically some old songs ( circa 1940's ) done by a very talented artist with a beautiful voice. Don Soper
